Our regular visitors will notice a dramatic new look to PocketPCReviews.net: fresh, fast and with a bit of that "Vista" look. But under the bonnet that's where the real changes are as we moved to a Content Management System with Mambo software. This allows easier updates, more interactivity with our readers and better support for our advertisers.

Thanks in particular to Alex Parker, our resident Mambologist and Marcel from Z-Networks who signed up for the design and implementation! Great work, guys!

You will find  the hundreds of our previous reviews in the Archived section under Reviews.

Some of the more popular ones of these write-ups we will migrate to the new format.

We intend to publish on an almost daily basis and will bring you a lot of news and scoops from the industry.

Here's what's coming soon: reviews on Zenum's exciting Opus Operis and the ORSiO n725 PocketPCs. Today, we bring you the scoop on the QStarz GPS receivers.

Great Battery Life and Super Sensitive

Qstarz BT-Q810 GPS Receiver

When Sean Lin of QSTARZ INTERNATIONAL CO., LTD. wrote to us to introduce his company and their line of MTK-based 32 Channel GPS receivers, we were kind of blasé about having to test yet another Bluetooth GPS receiver.
However, the Qstarz BT-Q810 was about as small a GPS receiver as I have ever seen and promised an astonishing 25 hours of autonomy.
Could this little number be as good as the best SiRFstarIII unit out there?

Samsung's 10 megapixel camera phone (SCH-B600)Samsung's 10 megapixel camera phone (SCH-B600) is 6mm thinner and 10g lighter than the 7 megapixel camera phone (SCH-V770) and sets itself apart from its previous megapixel camera phones by combining mobile TV capability in Satellite standard. The B600 offers the same level of picture-taking sophistication that a 10 megapixel digital camera offers. The camera function includes 3x optical zoom and 5x digital zoom.

It also has auto focus and a flash unit that performs optimally for 10 megapixel photographs.

The B600 features white balance, manual focus, continuous picture-taking, and interval picture-taking functions. It also supports Bluetooth which enables users to send pictures wirelessly to other mobile phones, printers or to Bluetooth headsets.
