Alex Kac from WebIS is very enthused about the FlexMail 2007 Rev 2 Beta and this is what he says:
"A few days ago we released a public beta of FlexMail 2007 on our forums. This release has had many months of very focused determined work on really making the best email client on any platform. We've had a lot of misses in the past on this but this time I think we got there. Part of the reason is we took some of our biggest critics and brought them in to our internal testing team. These guys hammered the software like a piece of steel being made into a sword. We got some very talented people on the Smartphone side as well that have allowed us to really polish the Smartphone side of the software very well."
More details below.

Here's an interesting new release of Navideo with plenty of new features.
But first you may ask: "What is Navideo?"
Navideo is a multi purpose application for your PDA and PC that combines navigation with mobile communication.
So what can you do with Navideo?
Exchange your GPS location with others by clicking just one button. Send SOS messages including your exact position for emergency assistance. Display incoming positions or set them as a target for navigation. Run Navideo either in standalone mode or in conjunction with additional navigation software such as TomTom Navigator. Save your position or track your journey and display it later on a map in Google Maps/Earth or Microsoft Autoroute.
Navideo 2.0 now introduces a completely free Navideo Basic Version and many new features: |

WebIS today announced full support for Windows Mobile 6 across their product range.
The ever increasing army of PocketInformant users will be happy to see that Crossbow functionality is now available on the flagship WebIS products along with a major revision of their software.
I'm always impressed by WebIS' responsiveness to ensure their software is updated as soon as Microsoft announces a new OS!
nVidia can learn something from them if you've been following the Vista dramas...

Glad to see that PocketPCDubai is back up after a period of absence! Mohd Al-Ashram has revamped his website -- good to see he's using Mambo as well! -- and it has a fresh and pleasant look.
More importantly, they are bringing some good reviews again and the one that stood out was the recently posted HP iPAQ rw6815 Personal Messenger write-up.
Have a look at it here. |

In todays Pocket PC world it is still the norm for one to purchase software to supplement or replace the default windows applications. This is still very true for the Notes software provided by Microsoft. This is where Phatpad comes in. This software is an advanced notes organizer for Microsoft Windows Powered Pocket PCs. It allows you to draw pictures, jot text notes, or put a mixture of pictures and typed text on a virtual scratch pad. This is a quote from the manufacturer and as we all know, that has to be proven.
