If ever there was a smart move by the folks at WebIS it's here: they are (finally) bringing out a simplified version of the renowned PocketInformant PIM.
As you know PI is one of the best apps for a PocketPC owner to install and mine has done its faithful duty for many years (and upgrades).
For the first time ever, I will be happy to "downgrade" -- getting fewer features -- for greater easy of use and simplicity.
Make no mistake: this application is a powerful tool for all mobile devices with a touchscreen and most likely it's all you ever need in a Calendar tool.
We'll have a review on this one shortly (once I can schedule it in, of course...)

See the Press Release below.

Pocket Informant 2007 is one of the most beautiful applications for the Pocket PC. It also helps that its one of the most productive and tops the list of most users as the most important application to install on a new Pocket PC. As such it brings me great pleasure to introduce a new version of Pocket Informant which brings the most used portions of Pocket Informant at a lower price!?

Pocket Informant Calendar is built off the same engine and source code as Pocket Informant 2007 with a focus on the calendar features such as a full Agenda, Day, Week, Month, and even the powerful Timeline View all for half?the price of the full Pocket Informant 2007! For only $12.95 we've brought the power of Pocket Informant to an even greater number of people!

Take a look at Pocket Informant Calendar from WebIS at <http://webis.net/pical> and finally get organized!
